To The Tennis Players of Clear Brook, Past, Present, and Future,
I write this letter as one of my last acts as Tennis Coach at Clear Brook, on the pending birth of my second son. It is because of my growing family that I am leaving Coaching.
Thank you all for your time, commitment, and drive. I always tried to do what I thought was best for you. To get the most out of you. I know that some issues arose through the years, but I tried to do what was best for the team and the individual.
I appreciate the love through the years. I’m not sure how it started, but the tradition of celebrating my birthday still lives on, which is crazy. I might not remember what year you played or graduated, but each of you has a place in my soul. You have made me the man I am today and given me practice as a dad before my first child was born. You have been with me through sleepless nights, emotional days, sickness, and all my experiences.
While I will no longer be at Clear Brook, you might still see me around the tennis courts. I am pursuing a career as a writer, and part of that will be writing for the SwingVision app. I will also provide tennis lessons while I begin my writing career.
This isn’t farewell, but thank you, and I will always be there if you need me. If you ever need me, please feel free to contact me. I will do what I can to help you, no matter what.
