okay, Ladies and Gents, the season returns- and it is bringing some normalcy with it.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 3 JV tryouts start. If you haven’t already registered, and you plan to try out, please register now! You can do that here – although if you have never signed up for a UTR account, you will need to do that. You will also need to make sure you are cleared to play by completing everything on RankOne.
Everyone MUST attend JV tryouts if you want to try for Varisty unless you were previously on Varsity, have a verified UTR of 5 or higher, or you will be a senior this school year.
You will be placed into pods once you get there. You will play a match against everyone in your pod in the morning. Then you will have a little lunch break. Then you might have 1-2 matches more in the afternoon.
Make sure you sleep the night before, eat a good breakfast, and bring snacks.
We will have water jugs on-site, so don’t worry about running out of water. It will be a hot day, so dress appropriately.
The top players from JV tryouts will be brought back up to Varsity tryouts the next day.
If there is rain, I will post something here on the website. Please don’t bombard me with questions about playing. Canceling the day is not really an option, so we will try to play some time during the day.
